Shanghai @hub To Buy Supercomputing Equipment; Shares Rise 3%

Shanghai @hub (SHA:603881) will purchase scientific computing equipment for computing power services for five years at up to 800 million yuan, according to a Thursday filing with the Shanghai bourse.

The company will build an AI4S scientific computing service integrating computing power supply, software support, public services, operation and maintenance support, it said in the filing.

Each device will contain at least 500 high-performance supercomputing chips.

Shares rose nearly 3% in recent trade.

Apple Flavor & Fragrance Further Extends NovoSana Unit's Acquisition Deadline to June 30

Apple Flavor & Fragrance (SHA:603020) further extended the deadline for the signing of the acquisition of Netherlands-based vitamins company NovoSana's unit to the end of this month, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Thursday.The deadline was set for June 30 after the parties could not execute a formal agreement for the acquisition of NovoSana (Taicang) Biotechnology by May 29.In February, the Chinese manufacturer of flavors and fragrances had signed a letter of intent for the proposed acquisition.The company's shares fell 2% during the afternoon trade.
