Shanghai Electric Power (SHA:600021) issued a super short-term commercial paper worth 2.50 billion yuan, the tenth tranche for the year, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Friday.
The bond has a coupon rate of 1.47% and a term of 149 days, maturing Dec. 4.
China Construction Bank (HKG:0939, SHA:601939) served as the lead underwriter of the issuance.
The power company's shares rose 1% during the afternoon trade.
