Shanghai Electric Power (SHA:600021) issued super short-term commercial paper amounting to 2.60 billion yuan, the 12th tranche of such bonds for the year, according to a weekend disclosure on the Shanghai bourse.
The power company's shares slipped 1% during Monday's afternoon trade.
The fixed-rate bonds have a coupon rate of 1.50% and a term of 170 days, maturing Jan. 22, 2027.
Agricultural Bank of China (SHA:601288, HKG:1288) is the underwriter of the issuance.
Shares of the power producer fell 1% in Monday afternoon trading.
