Shanghai Electric Posts Higher H1 Attributable Profit, Revenue

Shanghai Electric Group (HKG:2727, SHA:601727) reported 970 million yuan in profit attributable to equity owners for the first half, compared with 820.8 million yuan a year ago, a Friday bourse filing showed.

EPS moved to 0.062 yuan from 0.053 yuan year-over-year.

For the six months ended June 30, revenue was 63.3 billion yuan, versus 54.3 billion yuan previously, the power service provider said.

SBI Holdings (TYO:8473) plans to purchase a 20% stake in Indonesia-based online brokerage Ajaib Group for $270 million by the end of August, making the latter an equity-method affiliate, Nikkei Asia reported Friday.Ajaib offers online brokerage, foreign-exchange margin trading, cryptocurrency and asset management services.
