Shaanxi Energy Investment's Power Production Edges Up in Q1

-- Shaanxi Energy Investment's (SHE:001286) power production edged up 2.2% to 12.4 billion kilowatt-hours in the first quarter from 12.2 billion kilowatt-hours in the year-ago period, according to a Tuesday filing with the Shenzhen bourse.

Internet power consumption increased 1.7% to 11.6 billion kWh from 11.4 billion kWh in the prior-year period.

Coal production surged 53% to 6.6 million tons from 4.3 million tons, while coal sales soared 108% year over year to 3.9 million tons from 1.9 million tons.

Shares increased 2% during the midday break on Tuesday.

LG, Nvidia to Develop Domain-Specific AI Models

LG AI Research Institute and Nvidia agreed to expand their collaboration to develop new AI models, LG Corp. (KRX:003550) said in a press release on Wednesday.The two entities plan to develop domain-specific AI solutions, which would involve combining LG's AI model ExaONE with Nvidia's Nemotron AI ecosystem, the release said.Shares of LG Corp. rose nearly 1% at market close.
