SF Holding's Q1 Profit Rises 13%, Revenue Climbs 6%

-- SF Holding's (SHE:002352, HKG:6936) net profit attributable to shareholders in the first quarter rose 13% to 2.53 billion yuan from 2.23 billion yuan a year earlier, according to a Shenzhen bourse filing on Wednesday.

Earnings per share increased 11% year on year to 0.50 yuan from 0.45 yuan.

Operating revenue climbed 6.1% to 74.1 billion yuan from 69.8 billion yuan in the preceding year, as parcel volume rose 4.9% to 3.73 billion.

Beach Energy's (ASX:BPT) Waitsia gas plant in Western Australia reached nameplate capacity of 250 terrajoules per day, according to a Wednesday statement from the company.Waitsia is a joint venture project with operator MEPAU, and Beach holds a non-operated interest.The plant has the capacity to deliver the equivalent of nearly one quarter of the state's domestic natural gas demand, per the statement.The company's shares fell 1% in recent trading on Wednesday.
