Serica Energy Concludes One-Dyas Assets Purchase

Serica Energy (SQZ.L) completed its acquisition of a 10% interest in the Catcher Field and a 5.21% stake in the Golden Eagle Area Development assets from One-Dyas.

The oil and gas company said Thursday that it paid $6.8 million for the transaction, which will add a combined net 2P reserves of 3 million barrels of oil equivalent and 500,000 barrels of oil equivalent of 2C resources into its producing portfolio.

Additionally, the company received $13 million as part of the transaction. It added that it will also get an additional payment of $8 million and 85,000 barrels of oil equivalent in the third quarter.
