South Korean police have decided not to press charges against a former unregistered executive of E-Mart (KRX:139480), who was investigated for alleged breach of fiduciary duty.
The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency concluded there was insufficient evidence to support the allegations, resulting in a no-charge disposition notified to the company on July 13, according to a bourse filing on the same day.
The confirmed amount of embezzlement or misappropriation was determined to be zero.
E-Mart said it is reviewing whether to file an objection or pursue other follow-up measures regarding the police's decision.
