Semight Instruments (SHA:688808) will invest 1.6 million yuan to jointly establish Nanjing Mulei Optical Instrument Technology with Mulei Laser and related party Haijian Ruizhe.
The joint venture, with a registered capital of 9.0 million yuan, will focus on optical and electronic measuring instruments, software development and technology services, according to a Friday filing with the Shanghai bourse.
The company will hold a 17.78% stake, Mulei Laser 66.67% and Haijian Ruizhe 15.55%.
Shares of the instrument and equipment manufacturer closed 8% lower Friday.
