Seiko Epson (TYO:6724) recorded a 96% rise in attributable profit in the first fiscal quarter to 13 billion yen from 6.61 billion yen a year prior.
Basic EPS were 40.52 yen, up from 20.64 yen in the year-ago period, according to a Wednesday Tokyo bourse filing.
The printer manufacturer's revenue increased 14% year on year to 367.2 billion yen from 320.9 billion yen.
The company forecasts an attributable profit of 69 billion yen, basic EPS of 215.34 yen, revenue of 1.510 trillion yen, and a total dividend of 80 yen per share for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027.
