Seibu Giken's Unit Secures 500 Million Yen Order from Chinese Engineering Co

Seibu Giken's (TYO:6223) consolidated Chinese subsidiary, Seibu Giken (Changshu), has received a 500 million yen order from a Chinese engineering company for VOC concentrators to be used at a major Chinese shipyard.

The order was secured due to the subsidiary's proven track record in producing and selling equipment essential for ship painting processes within the Chinese market, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Tuesday.

Delivery is expected in the third quarter, though the customer name, site name and unit quantities cannot be disclosed to protect trade secrets.

The sales from this order have already been included in the group's consolidated forecast for the fiscal year ending December.
