Technology stocks were advancing early Wednesday, with the State Street Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) up 0.6% and the State Street SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) 0.7% higher.
SK Hynix (SKHY) will buy back and cancel 40 trillion South Korean won ($28.69 billion) of treasury shares as part of efforts to boost shareholder returns, the company said. SK Hynix stock was up more than 2% in early trading.
WhiteFiber (WYFI) shares were 23% lower after the company said it priced an upsized $270 million convertible senior notes offering.
Nebius Group (NBIS) stock was 6% lower after the company said it intends to offer $4.50 billion of convertible senior notes in a private offering to qualified institutional buyers.
