Technology stocks were edging higher pre-bell Tuesday, with the State Street Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) up 0.1% and the iShares Semiconductor ETF (SOXX) advancing by 0.9%.
Nokia (NOK) and Telxius are deploying 800G optical technology across terrestrial networks in Europe, the US and Latin America to meet rising cloud, AI and data-center connectivity demand, the companies said. Nokia shares were up more than 2% premarket.
Flex (FLEX) stock was up more than 1% after the company named its cloud and power infrastructure business spin-off as Axiom Solutions International (AXM). The previously announced spin-off is expected to be completed in Q1 2027, Flex said.
Grab (GRAB) will acquire a 60% controlling stake in Atome Financial from Advance Intelligence Group and other sellers for $1.49 billion in cash, the ride-hailing company said in a filing. Shares of Grab were up more than 1% pre-bell.
