Technology stocks were declining premarket Wednesday, with the State Street Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) down 1.5% and the State Street SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) 2.1% lower.
Check Point Software Technologies (CHKP) shares were up more than 2% after the company said its Cloud Firewall is now available on Amazon.com's (AMZN) Amazon Web Services European Sovereign Cloud for customers with European data residency and sovereignty requirements.
Nice (NICE) stock was up more than 2% after the company said it will provide its customer experience artificial intelligence tools on the newly launched independent Amazon Web Services European Sovereign Cloud.
Dynatrace (DT) said it has appointed George Riedel and Dan Streetman to its board, effective immediately, following its engagement with activist investor Starboard Value. Shares of Dynatrace were up more than 3% pre-bell.
