Incyte (INCY) shares were up 1.8% after the company said the European Medicines Agency's Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use issued a positive opinion recommending approval of Opzelura cream for adults with moderate atopic dermatitis.
Avalo Therapeutics (AVTX) will be added to the small-cap Russell 2000 index and the broad-market Russell 3000 index, effective after market close Friday. Shares of Avalo Therapeutics were up more than 1% pre-bell.
