The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares (FAS) was down 1.1% and its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ) was 1.3% higher.
HDFC Bank (HDB) Chief Executive and Managing Director Sashidhar Jagdishan will retire Oct. 26, the company said. HDFC Bank stock was down more than 1% premarket.
Aon (AON) has agreed to acquire USI Insurance Services from KKR (KKR) and other shareholders for $17 billion, according to a statement. Aon shares were down more than 2% pre-bell.
US Bancorp (USB) said it is expanding its business banking operations into Florida, Georgia, Texas and Arizona, adding bankers to serve businesses with annual sales of $2.5 million to $50 million. US Bancorp stock was 0.9% lower premarket.
