The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares (FAS) was 1.1% lower and its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ) was up 1%.
Bread Financial (BFH) shares were up more than 1% after the company reported 30-day-plus delinquencies of $876 million and a delinquency rate of 5.35% as of July 31, down from $931 million and 5.8% a year earlier.
KKR's (KKR) bid for an 8.43% stake in First Gen, a First Philippine power-generation unit, has been rejected, the Manila-based conglomerate reported to the Philippine Stock Exchange. KKR shares were 0.4% lower premarket.
Intel (INTC) and Goldman Sachs Group (GS) are among the investors in artificial intelligence video generation platform Higgsfield's recent $400 million funding round, pushing its valuation to $5.40 billion, the Financial Times reported. Goldman Sachs Group shares were 0.1% lower pre-bell.
