The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares (FAS) was down 0.5% and its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ) was 0.2% higher.
Progressive (PGR) stock was up more than 1% after the company reported net income for May of $2.47 per share, up from $1.81 a year earlier.
HSBC Holdings (HSBC) announced a multi-year partnership with Google Cloud aimed at expanding the bank's artificial intelligence capabilities, Reuters reported. HSBC Holdings shares were up more than 1% premarket.
KKR (KKR) said it is making a $1.4 billion equity commitment to expand its global portfolio of leased commercial aircraft in partnership with Altavair. KKR stock was down nearly 1% pre-bell.
