Financial stocks were lower in Wednesday afternoon trading, with the NYSE Financial Index down 0.4% and the State Street Financial Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLF) off 0.6%.
The Philadelphia Housing Index was fractionally higher, and the State Street Real Estate Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLRE) added 0.4%.
Bitcoin (BTC-USD) was increasing 0.1% to $75,648, and the yield for 10-year US Treasuries was shedding 3.7 basis points to 4.959%.
In corporate news, American Savings Bank (ASBH) shares rose in their debut on the New York Stock Exchange Wednesday. The shares were trading at $17.01, up 6.3%.
