The Philadelphia Housing Index rose 0.4%, and the State Street Real Estate Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLRE) eased 0.4%.
Bitcoin (BTC-USD) was rising 3.1% to $79,166, and the yield for 10-year US Treasuries decreased 1.4 basis points to 4.961%.
In corporate news, Aon (AON) has commenced a US investment-grade debt sale in seven tranches to help fund its planned $17 billion acquisition of USI Insurance Services from KKR (KKR), Bloomberg reported. Aon shares were up 2%.
