The Philadelphia Housing Index rose 0.1%, and the State Street Real Estate Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLRE) was shedding 0.5%.
Bitcoin (BTC-USD) was rising 1.9% to $78,782, and the yield for 10-year US Treasuries was decreasing 2.4 basis points to 4.95%.
In corporate news, Baldwin Insurance (BWIN) has agreed to be acquired and taken private by a consortium that includes the family investment firm of Dell Technologies (DELL) Chief Executive Michael Dell, in a deal worth $7.7 billion. Baldwin shares jumped 7.7%.
