Financial stocks were mixed in late Wednesday afternoon trading, with the NYSE Financial Index fractionally lower and the State Street Financial Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLF) slightly higher.
The Philadelphia Housing Index was down 0.5%, and the State Street Real Estate Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLRE) was shedding 0.5%.
Bitcoin (BTC-USD) was easing 0.1% to $78,423, and the yield for 10-year US Treasuries rose 2.5 basis points to 4.664%.
In corporate news, StepStone (STEP) shares rose 1.3% after it said Wednesday it secured $1.7 billion in capital commitments for StepStone Secondaries Infrastructure Fund and related separate accounts.
