The Philadelphia Housing Index was climbing 1.2%, and the State Street Real Estate Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLRE) was down 0.5%.
Bitcoin (BTC-USD) was falling 3% to $59,167, and the yield for 10-year US Treasuries was decreasing 2 basis points to 4.38%.
In corporate news, JPMorgan Chase (JPM) said Thursday that Doug Petno and Troy Rohrbaugh, co-chief executives of JPMorgan's commercial and investment bank, have been named co-presidents of the company, effective immediately. JPMorgan shares were up 0.8%.
