Consumer stocks were mixed pre-bell Friday, with the State Street Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLP) down 0.4% and the State Street Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLY) 1% higher.
Spectrum Brands Holdings (SPB) was up more than 8% after the company posted higher fiscal Q3 adjusted earnings and net sales.
Interface (TILE) shares were up more than 5% after the company reported higher fiscal Q2 adjusted earnings and net sales, and raised its fiscal 2026 net sales guidance.
Wendy's (WEN) was down more than 2% after the company reported a decline in Q2 adjusted earnings, withdrew its 2026 outlook, and cut its dividend.
