In corporate news, Paramount Skydance (PSKY) has reached a settlement agreement with California and other states that sued to block the company's proposed acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD), Bloomberg reported. Paramount and Warner Bros. shares each jumped about 11%.

The company, which provides reactor technology to nuclear power plants and is co-owned by Brookfield Renewable Partners (BEP) and Cameco (CCJ), is looking to file publicly as early as October, the report said.
