Consumer stocks were leaning lower premarket Wednesday, with the State Street Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLP) down 0.6% and the State Street Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLY) 0.1% lower.
La-Z-Boy (LZB) stock was up more than 17% after the company reported fiscal Q4 adjusted earnings and revenue that topped analysts' estimates, with adjusted EPS increasing year over year.
