Seamec's (NSE:SEAMECLTD, BOM:526807) consolidated profit attributable to the owners more than doubled to 1.03 billion Indian rupees in the fiscal fourth quarter from 429.8 million rupees a year ago, according to an Indian bourse filing on Monday.
Shares of the company jumped nearly 10% in Tuesday's trade.
Earnings per share for the quarter ended March 31 jumped to 40.70 rupees from 16.91 rupees a year earlier.
Revenue of the diving support vessel operator rose year on year to 3.27 billion rupees from 2.0 billion rupees.
The board recommended a final dividend of 2 rupees per share for the financial year ended March 31. The dividend is subject to shareholder approval.
