SEALSQ (LAES) said Tuesday it has agreed to a strategic partnership with Palm Technologies to integrate its QS7001 hardware-security technology into Palm Technologies' existing and future PalmPay biometric-authentication products.
Financial details related to the collaboration were not disclosed.
Under the partnership, SEALSQ will provide its QS7001 technology and technical support for secure-element integration, while Palm Technologies will lead product architecture, biometric-system design, application development, the company said.
Additionally, each party will retain ownership of its respective pre-existing intellectual property, technology, product architecture and know-how, according to SEALSQ.
Shares of the company were down over 5% in Tuesday premarket activity.
