Seacon Shipping (HKG:2409) unit Seacon Colombo agreed to sell a bulk carrier vessel to Medway Marine for a little over $35.6 million, according to a Thursday Hong Kong bourse filing.
The vessel, Seacon Colombo, is a 25,175 gross tonnage bulk carrier to be built and delivered by July 26.
The vessel is chartered to the seller under a bareboat charter from Qihang Zhongzhou 4 Leasing (Tianjin). The seller will buy the vessel by exercising a purchase option.
EPI (HKG:0689) unit EPI ESG Investment (New Zealand) agreed to provide a NZ$3.1 million loan facility to Fanchen Dou, according to a Thursday Hong Kong bourse filing.The facility has an interest rate of 6% per annum and a term of eight months.A first mortgage related to certain lands and properties in Auckland, New Zealand, was pledged as collateral against the loan.
