Scales H1 Underlying Earnings, Revenue Up

Scales (NZE:SCL) logged NZ$0.36 in underlying earnings per basic share for the first half, compared with NZ$0.34 a year ago, a Wednesday filing showed.

For the six months ended June 30, revenue was NZ$762.1 million versus NZ$371.9 million previously, the New Zealand-listed agribusiness group added.

The company raised its 2026 guidance for underlying net profit after tax attributable to shareholders to NZ$55 million to NZ$60 million, from the previous guidance of NZ$50 million to NZ$55 million, implying underlying net profit after tax of NZ$72 million to NZ$78 million and underlying earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization of NZ$135 million to NZ$142 million.
