Satellogic, SynMax Partner on AI Satellite Intelligence Products for Defense Customers

By

Satellogic (SATL) said Tuesday that it has announced a strategic collaboration with artificial intelligence analytics company SynMax to develop and provide AI geospatial intelligence products for defense and intelligence customers.

Under the collaboration, SynMax's agentic intelligence layer will be combined with Satellogic's constellation, including its existing high-resolution satellites, on-satellite AI, and the forthcoming Merlin constellation, which is designed to provide comprehensive global coverage at one-meter resolution as the network expands.

"Earth observation is shifting from collecting images to delivering continuous intelligence, and that shift requires infrastructure designed for it from the ground up," Satellogic Chief Executive Emiliano Kargieman said in a statement.

"Combining our infrastructure with SynMax's applied AI allows us to reach further into the operational problems our defense, intelligence, and commercial customers need solved."
