Santos (ASX:STO) logged $0.109 earnings per share for the first half of the year, compared with $0.135 a year ago, a Wednesday filing showed.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.105.
For the six months ended June 30, revenue from ordinary activities was $2.62 billion versus $2.58 billion previously, the Australia-listed energy company added. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected about $2.70 billion.
The board declared an interim dividend of $0.116 per share, down from $0.134 a year earlier, payable Sept. 23 to shareholders of record as of Aug. 25.
Santos guided for full-year 2026 production volume of 99 million to 105 million barrels of oil equivalent, and capital expenditure of $1.95 billion to $2.15 billion.
