Santacruz Silver Mining Reports 11% Increase in Q2 Silver Production

By

Santacruz Silver Mining (SCZ.V) said Tuesday that total silver production in the second quarter rose 11% year over year to 1.6 million ounces of silver.

Copper production jumped 47% to 337 tonnes of copper, Santacruz said.

"This quarter's solid production results show how the company's operations were resilient despite the challenging conditions experienced in Bolivia. During this second quarter, road blockades in Bolivia extended for more than 50 days, disrupting supply chains across many sectors of the economy," said chief executive Arturo Prestamo.
