Sanan Optoelectronics (SHA:600703) expects to swing to an attributable loss of between 90 million yuan and 135 million yuan in the first half from a profit of 176.5 million yuan in the year-ago period, according to a Tuesday filing with the Shanghai bourse.
The semiconductor and optoelectronics company attributed the loss to profitability struggles in its integrated circuit segment, as well as foreign exchange losses.
Shares fell 9% early Tuesday afternoon.
