Samvardhana Motherson International's (NSE:MOTHERSON, BOM:517334) consolidated attributable net profit rose to 15.0 billion Indian rupees in the fiscal fourth quarter ended March 31, from 10.2 billion rupees a year ago.
Earnings per share came in at 1.42 rupees from 0.97 rupees a year earlier, the auto components manufacturer said in a filing to the Indian stock exchanges on Wednesday. The EPS was higher than the 1.15 rupees estimated by analysts polled by Visible Alpha.
Revenue from operations in fiscal Q4 increased to 343.1 billion rupees from 314.1 billion rupees a year ago.
The company's board recommended a final dividend of 0.25 rupees per equity share of face value of 1 rupee each for the financial year 2025-26.
