Sakai Chemical Industry (TYO:4078) has completed its share repurchase after acquiring a total of 1.5 million shares for 6.07 billion yen through market purchases on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
The final tranche of 189,200 shares, costing 731.2 million yen, was acquired between Sept. 1 and 7, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Tuesday.
The program, which ran from July 1 through Dec. 31, had an upper limit of 1.5 million shares and a total budget of 7 billion yen.
Following this acquisition, the company plans to cancel all treasury shares that have been repurchased.
