S.A.S. Dragon Raises Hon Hai Transaction Caps Through 2028

S.A.S. Dragon (HKG:1184) proposed new annual caps of HK$4.3 billion for sales to the Hon Hai Group and HK$3.3 billion for purchases from the group in 2026, according to a Thursday Hong Kong bourse filing.

The caps will rise to HK$5.9 billion and HK$3.8 billion, respectively, in 2027, and HK$8.1 billion and HK$4.3 billion in 2028. The higher caps reflect the Group's business expansion and increasing market demand.

Sales to Hon Hai reached HK$1.78 billion in the first half of 2026, compared with HK$2.35 billion for all of 2025.

The company also entered into a new conditional master agreement with Hon Hai to extend the arrangements for sales and purchases of electronic components and distribution of Hon Hai Group brand products through Dec. 31, 2028.

The new agreement and caps are subject to approval by independent shareholders.

Qantas Airways to Start Retiring A380 Fleet in 2028; Shares Gain 4%

Qantas Airways (ASX:QAN) will start retiring its Airbus A380 airliner fleet in 2028, replacing it with aircraft that can fly further and operate on all of the airline's international network routes, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.The company is in talks with Airbus and Boeing to convert around 20 of its purchase right options to firm orders starting from 2030, per the filing."This fleet renewal is expected to significantly improve Qantas International's earnings performance and reduce operational complexity," with its operating margin forecast to increase to between 10% and 12% from fiscal 2032, the company said.Qantas CEO Vanessa Hudson said the company took delivery of 17 new aircraft in fiscal 2026 with up to 31 more to arrive in the year ahead.The company's shares gained 4% in recent Thursday trade.
