RUA Gold (NZE:RGI) completed 19,600 meters of drilling at its Auld Creek gold-antimony project in New Zealand, surpassing its 19,000-meter target, with four rigs continuing to test a mineralized resource that remains open in all directions, according to a Wednesday filing with the New Zealand bourse.
Drilling intersected high-grade mineralization, including 2.7 meters at 23.2 grams per tonne gold equivalent, while detailed geological studies have refined drill targeting and strengthened confidence in the project's potential for significant resource scale and continuity, per the filing.
Results from 18 additional holes are pending and are expected to contribute to an updated mineral resource estimate in the fourth quarter, the filing said.
The company remains on track to submit its fast-track approvals application in October and release its pre-feasibility study in December, the filing added.
