RTX's Raytheon Delivers Second Satellite Sensor to Lockheed Martin Under US Space Force Program

RTX-owned (RTX) Raytheon said Tuesday it has delivered its second sensor to Lockheed Martin (LMT) for the US Space Force's satellite program.

The satellites, which are part of the Next-Generation Overhead Persistent Infrared Geosynchronous Earth Orbit Block 0 satellite program, will provide enhanced missile warning and tracking to deal with space-based threats, Raytheon said.

Financial terms of the contract were not disclosed.
