Rox Resources (ASX:RXL) said underground diamond drilling at the United North prospect at the Youanmi gold mine in Western Australia returned significant intercepts, with host shear zones observed in all drill holes, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
It encountered intercepts of 10.3 meters at 12.46 grams per tonne (g/t) grade of gold from 184.7 meters as well as 6.98 meters at 13.93 g/t grade of gold from 187.40 meters, per the filing. Nineteen drill holes for 3,326 meters were completed in August.
The ore drive development extended beyond the mine plan on multiple levels, the company said.
