Rox Resources Completes Main Pit Dewatering at Western Australia Project

-- Rox Resources (ASX:RXL) said dewatering of the main pit at its Youanmi Gold Mine in Western Australia has been completed, with the pit floor visible and historic decline exposed, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.

The company said that the transition to underground dewatering ahead of the Main and Pollard declines is underway.

The company added that a record month of mine development was achieved with 342 meters of advance at United North, with the first ventilation rise successfully fired and mineralization intersected in the first development level, as expected.

Processing plant bulk earthworks are underway, and the main pit power station is ready for commissioning, it added.
