Roper Technologies' Illumia Adds PayPal, Venmo for Tuition Payments

Roper Technologies' (ROP) Illumia unit said Wednesday that participating colleges and universities can now accept tuition and fee payments using PayPal (PYPL) or Venmo.

The payment options will be accessible within the existing payment portals of participating schools.

Users can complete transactions with a bank account, credit card, or PayPal or Venmo balance at select institutions, with additional schools expected to add the options throughout the year, Illumia added.

Shares of the company were up 4.1% in Wednesday trading.
