Rome Resources (RMR.L) on Wednesday reported a 45% increase in contained tin at the Kalayi tin deposit, part of its Bisie North project in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The critical minerals explorer's updated mineral resource estimate comprises inferred resources of 460,000 tonnes at 1.47% tin, containing 6,760 tonnes, at a 0.80% tin cut-off grade. The resource tonnage and average grade jumped 32% and 10%, respectively.
The company added that an area immediately southeast of the updated resource estimate, which was defined along strike from the existing resource, represents potential for doubling the estimate.
