Richardson Electronics (RELL) said Thursday it will deliver 18 battery energy storage systems across seven communities in Alaska in collaboration with its technology partners.
The systems will provide combined storage capacity of 7 MWh and each will be customized based on a community's requirements, the company said.
Deployment is expected to be completed by the end of 2027, the company added.
Shares of the company were down 2.8% in Thursday trading.
