Reabold Resources (RBD.L) said Wednesday that the West Newton A-2 natural gas well's operator, Rathlin Energy (UK), is set to start the preparatory work for the project in East Yorkshire, UK.
The investment company noted that the work will be done for the well's future recompletion, stimulation and testing programs. The total program is estimated to cost a total gross of 2.5 million pounds sterling.
Additionally, the company plans to conduct a feasibility study to assess the potential to co-locate power generation and data center assets at the West Newton site, with gas produced from the field used to power on-site infrastructure.
