Ramsay Health Care Opens AU$16 Million Hospital in Cleveland, Queensland

Ramsay Health Care (ASX:RHC) opened a new AU$16 million day hospital in Cleveland, Queensland, in a move that introduces artificial intelligence-enabled endoscopy technology to the region, according to a Monday statement.

The hospital includes three operating theaters with capacity for a fourth in the future, and provides access to on-site pathology, radiology and a general practice clinic.

The company said the new hospital's Olympus EVIS X1 system uses AI technology to help specialists detect lesions during procedures.
