Rakus Eyes 2 Billion Yen Gain from Sale of Investment Securities

Rakus (TYO:3923) has agreed to sell a portion of its listed investment securities held for pure investment purposes, with the sale expected to be completed by the end of October.

The company projects a gain on sale of 2 billion yen, which will be recorded as extraordinary income for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Tuesday.

This estimate assumes all shares within the sale quota are sold at current prices.

However, actual proceeds may vary or the sale may be partially or fully withheld depending on future stock price trends.
