Racura Oncology (ASX:RAC) dosed the first patient in a phase 1 clinical trial evaluating its RC220 drug candidate in combination with osimertinib for the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
The company said no adverse events were seen during or after the first RC220 infusion.
The study is using single-patient cohorts for the first three dose escalation stages before advancing to larger cohorts to determine the maximum tolerated dose. Additional clinical trial sites are expected to open in the coming months.
