Quest Diagnostics (DGX) has expanded access to its oncology testing for solid tumor cancers through Flatiron Health's electronic oncology medical record platform OncoEMR MPI, it said Wednesday.
The integration is expected to allow 4,700 clinicians within the Flatiron network of 1,600 cancer care locations in the US to quickly access Quest's services without leaving their existing workflow, the company said.
Certain providers are now able to order and receive results from Quest using the OncoEMR MPI as part of a pilot program, Quest said, adding that it plans to launch the full OncoEMR MPI integration to providers nationwide in H2.
