Qantas Airways (ASX:QAN) revealed its redesigned Airbus A350 cabin for Project Sunrise, featuring a low-density 238-seat layout, upgraded sleep-focused seating across all classes, and a first-of-its-kind onboard wellbeing zone ahead of its planned Sydney to London nonstop launch in October 2027, according to a Thursday statement by the company after market hours.
First class will include six private suites with lie-flat beds, circadian lighting, seating, and enhanced privacy controls, while business class will feature 52 enclosed suites with sliding doors and flexible dining.
Premium economy and economy cabins have been redesigned with improved ergonomics, increased seat pitch, and memory foam seating, and now include a new economy plus section with extra space and priority benefits.
The airline will add a wellbeing zone between premium economy and economy for stretching, hydration, and guided movement, and a new inflight entertainment system with journey planning, multilingual support, and social viewing.
